December 1<\/b>, 2020, Celina, OH <\/b>\u2014 Celina Insurance Group announces the retirement of Vince Franz, Senior Vice President \u2013 Chief Operating Officer effective January 4, 2021. Franz has more than 40 years of experience in the insurance industry.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

President and CEO Bill Montgomery stated, \u201cVince has had a significant, steadying influence on our people and customers. His knowledge and leadership will be missed.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Celina also announces the promotion of Ted Wissman to <\/span>Senior Vice President \u2013 Chief Operating Officer. Wissman is in his 23<\/span>rd<\/span> year with Celina, most recently as Vice President \u2013 Claims. He has assumed different roles at Celina that diversify his experience. In his new role, Wissman will oversee all insurance operations and will continue as a member of the Senior Management team.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTed has 29 years of experience in Property and Casualty Insurance and has spent most of those years as a leader who executes a strategy and drives growth,\u201d Montgomery said. \u201cWe are fortunate to have someone of his caliber lead our operations.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wissman and his wife, Amy, reside in Minster, OH, and have three children.<\/span><\/p>\n

Founded in 1914, Celina Insurance Group is a family of four mutual property and casualty insurance companies underwriting auto, home, business and farm coverages. Celina Insurance Group is represented by approximately 500 independent agents across six Midwestern states.<\/span><\/p>\n
